Our website

This website does not collect personal information. We have no user accounts and no payment forms. Our contact form does not send or store anything on our servers: it opens your own email app with a message addressed to info@vidyanta.com, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it. If you email us, we use your name, email address and message only to reply.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify visitors.

YouTube analytics data

Vidyanta uses the YouTube Reporting and YouTube Analytics APIs, with read-only access and with the authorisation of the channel owner, to retrieve performance data for Vidyanta's own YouTube channel (for example views, watch time and traffic sources). We use it only internally, to understand how our videos perform.

We do not sell this data, share it with advertisers, use it for advertising, or pass it to third parties. It is stored securely and is accessible only to authorised Vidyanta staff. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Changes

If we change how this website works, for example by adding accounts or payments, we will update this policy before doing so.
