  • Steps of the procedure – application of various scales
  • Common clinical errors related to applying various pain scales for assessment

This module covers key pain assessment tools such as the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), Wong-Baker FACES Pain Scale, Neonatal Infant Pain Scale (NIPS), and FLACC Scale for non-verbal patients. Nurses learn how to select the appropriate pain scale, interpret scores, and implement pain management strategies through real-world clinical scenarios, step-by-step demonstrations, and interactive assessments. This module offers structured training on using standardized pain scales to assess, document, and manage pain effectively in various patient populations.
