Mandatory Module: Basic Cardiac Life Support

The Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) theory module is an online learning component designed to provide nursing students with essential knowledge of life-saving interventions in cardiac emergencies. This module covers fundamental concepts such as:

  • Chain of survival
  • Recognition of cardiac arrest
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) algorithms
  • High-quality CPR techniques
  • Airway management, and
  • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Students will engage in interactive e-learning modules, video demonstrations, and case-based discussions to understand the principles of effective resuscitation.
