Capt (Dr) Usha Banerjee

Dr. Banerjee has held prestigious positions throughout her career, including serving in the Indian Military Nursing Services and working as the Founding Principal and Group Director of Nursing at Manipal Hospitals, Max Healthcare, and currently at Apollo Hospitals Group since 2005. She holds a B.Sc. (Nursing) from the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), where she was a Gold Medallist, along with a Master’s Diploma in Personnel Management, a Diploma in Hospital Administration, and a Ph.D. in Management. She is also certified in ISO 9001:2000, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and various other qualifications.
She has received numerous accolades, including the President of India’s Medal, the Gaurav Pathak Award, and the Jawaharlal Nehru Award. She has authored 63 articles in renowned journals and contributed chapters to multiple books. As a recognized leader, she has delivered keynotes at national and international forums, including speaking on the popular program Swasth Banega India with Sri Amitabh Bachchan.
