Occupational Safety and Health is one of the subjects allotted to the Ministry of Labour & Employment under the Government of India Allocation of Business Rules. The Industrial Safety and Health branch of the Ministry discharges the overall functions relating to policy decisions and laying down guidelines for the countrywide adoption of legislation.
