Outdoor emergencies can be environmental emergencies where humans are exposed to disease-carrying insects, other biting or stinging creatures and rapid changes in the weather. Whereas many environmental emergencies can be avoided, even with the best prevention efforts, environmental emergencies still occur.
At the end of this lesson, a student will be able to understand first aid for:
- Fire
- Heat-related emergencies
- Frostbite and hypothermia
