Personal Responsibility: During COVID-19, it has been shown that personal responsibility for our health, following guidelines has a significant impact on contracting COVID-19.

  1. What is your personal attitude towards COVID-19?
  2. Do you regularly wash your hands after which activities?
  3. Do you consistently wear a mask when going outside?
  4. Do you carry your own hand sanitizer?

My Workplace: Your work environment has an impact whether you are exposed to the virus.

  1. How many people do you come in contact with daily?
  2. What is your seating arrangement? For example, separate closed cabin, open workspace, open workspace with cubicles
  3. How are your bathroom facilities? For example, separate or common bathroom facilities
  4. Have COVID-19 cases been found at your workplace?

My Traveling: During your travels, you come in contact with the greatest number of unknown persons which has a significant impact on your social distancing.

  1. How do you travel? For example, personal vehicle, company vehicle, metro, three-wheeler auto, bus, taxi or train
  2. Where do you travel to and from? For example, commute to work, go for essential shopping
  3. How frequently do you travel in a week? For example, daily or occasionally

My Community and My Home: Where you live and what living arrangements you have can impact your health and well-being.

  1. What type of community arrangement do you live in? For example, single flat, single house, gated or open community
  2. What are your living arrangements? For example, nuclear family, joint family with shared resources, paying guest or shared accommodations
  3. Do you share common washroom facilities?
  4. Who comes and goes regularly from your home? For example, maids, drivers or delivery persons

Once you have completed your Environment Assessment and the course starts. As you go through the course, reflect on the guidelines provided and how best you can implement them.
