This lesson will provide a brief historical perspective in the development of the INACSL Standards of Best Practice: Simulation. We will discuss the importance (the WHY) of the standards in simulation-based education, what are those standards and in-depth description of the criteria to meet these standards.

At the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand:

  • Why these standards are important 
  • How to follow those standards
