Multiple organ dysfunction is a common cause of morbidity and mortality in intensive care units (ICUs). It is often present at the time of an ICU admission and/or present at the time of an ICU death. In this lesson, we will learn about the care of patients with multiple traumas, acute burn injuries and organophosphorus poisoning, which causes multiple organ dysfunctions.
